Many customers are considering having a portion of their inventory managed by Vendors. In MRO, we typically follow the ABC Analysis. VMI is almost exclusively for "C-Class" items—high volume, low criticality, and low cost. The "VMI Sweet Spot" Parts:

• Fasteners & Hardware:     Bolts, nuts, washers, screws, and pins.

• Consumables: Duct tape, lubricants, cleaners, rags, and      drill bits.

• PPE & Safety:     Gloves, earplugs, safety glasses, and respirators.

· Generic Electrical/Plumbing: Wire nuts, conduit fittings, PVC connectors, and light bulbs.

· Filters and Belts: Standard-sized HVAC filters or drive belts used across multiple assets.
