Sunil Kumar is an accomplished supply chain and asset management specialist with more than two decades of experience across MRO inventory optimization, spend analytics, enterprise asset management, and predictive maintenance. 

He currently serves as a Lead Delivery Consultant for MRO Inventory Optimization and Envizi at IBM Technology Expert Labs, where he guides global clients in transforming their maintenance and supply chain operations through data-driven insights and advanced analytics. 

Prior to this role, Sunil worked as a Senior Delivery Consultant, supporting complex implementations and value-realization initiatives across asset‑intensive industries.

Before joining Expert Labs, Sunil spent nearly six years as a Strategy Consultant in IBM’s Supply Chain Transformation practice, helping organizations evolve their procurement, P2P/S2P compliance, asset data standards, and inventory strategies. 

His earlier roles in IBM Global Process Services included leadership positions in delivery, solutioning, and research and analytics—strengthening his expertise across taxonomy design, master data management, payment terms optimization, and spend visibility.

Sunil’s professional journey spans respected global companies including Utopia Inc., Zycus, CEAT Tyres, and JK Tyre, where he built foundational experience in operations, analytics, and maintenance engineering.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University and is recognized for his ability to blend functional depth, analytical rigor, and practical execution to deliver impactful digital transformation outcomes.
