Mary Badman is a highly experienced product leader with more than three decades of expertise across product management, business analysis, and enterprise software development. 

She currently serves as a Senior Product Manager at IBM, where she has spent over twenty years contributing to the evolution of optimisation and analytics solutions that support asset‑intensive industries worldwide.

Before joining IBM, Mary held senior roles at Oniqua, including Senior Product Manager and Business Analyst, where she played a pivotal part in shaping Oniqua’s industry‑leading MRO optimisation capabilities. 

Over nearly 20 years, she partnered with global mining, energy, and utilities organisations to enhance inventory performance, strengthen maintenance strategies, and unlock measurable operational value.

Earlier in her career, Mary worked as a Business Analyst at The World Bank, supporting major international programs through data-driven insights and systems expertise. She also spent more than seven years as a Computer Programmer with Western Mining Corporation, gaining deep technical and operational experience across multiple sites in Australia.

Mary holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Curtin University, providing the strong analytical foundation that continues to underpin her product leadership today.
