Dylan Jones is a seasoned product leader with deep expertise in MRO inventory optimisation, supply chain intelligence, and asset management. 

As a Senior Product Manager for IBM Maximo Inventory Optimization, he leads the strategy and delivery of advanced optimisation solutions that help asset‑intensive organisations improve service levels, reduce cost, and make more confident, data‑driven decisions. 

Prior to this role, Dylan served as Product Manager for MRO Inventory Optimisation and Client Success Manager at IBM, partnering closely with mining, utilities, and energy clients to drive measurable value through smarter spare parts and maintenance strategies.

Dylan’s background spans more than two decades across engineering, reliability, consulting, and product management. Before joining IBM through the Oniqua acquisition, he held roles in customer success, account management, and consulting, helping organisations optimise inventory, improve maintenance processes, and strengthen asset performance. 

Earlier engineering roles with Animatronic Engineering, Water Corporation, Assetivity, PSN, and SKILLED Group provided extensive hands‑on experience in electrical systems, industrial control, SCADA, reliability analysis, and maintenance planning.

Dylan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Computer Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Commerce in Management and Organisational Psychology from Murdoch University. 

He brings a rare blend of technical depth and product leadership, enabling him to build practical, user‑centric solutions for complex operational environments.
